![]() Newport House Bed and Breakfast is Williamsburg, Virginia's most historically authentic Bed and Breakfast. This Colonial Williamsburg Bed and Breakfast was built to museum standards in 1988 from the 1756 design by famous architect Peter Harrison for the Banister Plantation near Newport, RI, that was destroyed on its 200th birthday to make way for a carpark. Newport House Bed and Breakfast is completely furnished in the period with English and American antiques and reproductions (over a dozen of them designed by Harrison). As with most Williamsburg B&B's, we are limited to two rooms which means that we can concentrate on providing luxury and personal service to our guests. Guests are also welcome to use our elegant living room, which contains a fireplace, or stroll through our gardens of flowers, herbs, fruit and pecan trees. Each spacious bedroom contains two 4-poster canopy beds (a queen and an extra-long twin) and even the blankets and carpets are historically authentic. Each room has a private bathroom (shower only, no tub) and the house is centrally air-conditioned. If you bring your computer, we have WiFi. A full breakfast served in the formal dining room usually includes delicious dishes made from authentic colonial recipes with fruit and honey from our own garden and an interesting historical seminar by your host. Newport House B&B has off-street parking and is only a 5 minute walk from Colonial Williamsburg. Guests of Newport House can immerse themselves more completely in the colonial period here than anywhere else without sacrificing comfort. Surprisingly, Newport House is the only one of Williamsburg's 24 B&B's to embrace the historical theme! Hotel Policies: Amenities
